The Route

Four-hour evening cruise through the pristine waters of Resurrection Bay.  Guided alongside large bird rookeries and sea lion colonies with stops for photos and to view passing whales and sea otters.

 

 

Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center

A MUCH better experience than the Alaska Zoo later in the week.

The Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving Alaska’s wildlife through conservation, public education, and quality animal care. AWCC takes in injured and orphaned animals year-round and provides spacious enclosures and quality animal care. Animals that cannot be released into the wild are given a permanent home at the center.  www.alaskawildlife.org/
