Unable to obtain a licence to replicate Copenhagen's Little Mermaid statue, the city commissioned a modern version with diving mask, wetsuit and swimfins. It was created by Elek Imredy and placed on June 9, 1972.
I'm pretty sure that the seagull arrived recently.
